What it is
EventKu (EventHub) is a mobile event discovery platform built to centralize campus event information into a single, accessible experience. Developed with Flutter, the application serves as a hub for seminars, workshops, competitions, concerts, and student activities, helping users discover opportunities more easily. The platform supports two main roles: students who explore and register for events, and administrators who manage event data through a dedicated dashboard.
Problem it solves
Campus event information is often scattered across social media platforms, messaging groups, and separate announcements, making it difficult for students to stay informed. EventKu addresses this fragmentation by bringing event discovery, information, and registration into one integrated platform, creating a more organized and accessible experience for campus communities.
How it works
Built with Flutter for cross-platform mobile development and Firebase as the backend infrastructure, EventKu provides a fast and connected event experience. Users can browse events by category such as academic, sports, arts, or entertainment, explore detailed information including speakers and locations, and receive automatic reminder notifications before events begin to improve attendance and engagement.
